How do I order?

The best way to place an order is to use the contact form or email bakedcakedesign@gmail.com.
Please provide as much information as possible i.e. type of event, date required, number of servings, design/theme.
Payment is through email invoice which I send out the Monday before your order is due. Full payment is required before collection.

How much notice do you need?
For wedding cakes it is best to provide 6 months notice. I take orders up to one year in advance. For celebration cakes, we require approximately two/three weeks notice. However, do get in touch if your event is sooner. We will check our availability and try our best to accommodate your order where possible. Our busiest times are summer weekends, holidays and communion season
Where are you based and when can I collect my order?

I am based in Clontarf, Dublin 3.
A collection slot will be arranged with you when you receive your invoice. Once this time has been arranged, please ensure you arrive on time, as there may not be anyone available to meet you if you're late

Do you offer delivery?
​
Deliver for celebration cakes may be available depending on date, time required and location. Please request on placing your order.
For weddings, I deliver and set up all wedding cakes. Delivery will be arranged by myself directly with your venue coordinator. I do not offer collection for cakes over two tiers.
Delivery cost is based on location of venue and distance from my base in Dublin 3.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, in order to save your date in our calendar, we require €100 deposit for wedding cakes and €30 for occasion cakes. Payment is taken through our secure invoice system. This is non-refundable.

Do you offer cakes for special dietary requirements?
​
Unfortunately, all of our cakes contain wheat, dairy and possible traces of nuts. In correspondence with HSE standards, we cannot provide cakes for special dietary requirements.

Terms & Conditions
​
1. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable.
2. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded.
3. The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
4. Delivery and setup is depending on the location of the venue and will be stipulated in the final price.
5. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below.
6. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
7. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.
8. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
9. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
10. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon our ability to complete the Agreement and is subject to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
